Attitude of Medical Students towards Biochemistry and Its Integration through Problem-Based Learning

Introduction: Biochemistry is an important but volatile subject for undergraduate medical students and included in integrated organ-based system with problem-based learning method the curriculum of Kathmandu University School Medical Sciences. Objective: This study was conducted to assess students’ attitudes toward its integration into learning. Methods: It a descriptive cross-sectional that lasted 5 months (October 2020-February 2021) after ethical approval from Institutional Review Committee- KUSMS. Among 150 participated study, 51 were girls 99 boys. After taking consent, pretested self-assessment semi structured questionnaire five point Likert scale each question used. Out statements questionnaire, eight questions positive statements. Mean statement calculated along average mean score negative Results: The 3.06 attitude towards studying Biochemistry. 2.4. 3.36 whereas 3.41. Conclusions: Students had overall organ based using
